Into the Breeches!
Into the Breeches! is a heart-warming and hilarious show set in the 1940s about women taking charge back home while the men go off to fight the war. It's a very strong piece on women empowerment and also touches on race and sexual orientation. Ultimately, it's about a community coming together to support each other and lift each other up; quite a terrific message to promote around the upcoming Holidays.

Storyline: It’s 1942, and there’s a problem at the Oberon Playhouse! With the director and leading men all off at war, it looks like the season will be cancelled. That is, until a determined group of ladies rallies the troops at home to mount an all-female Shakespearean production. The hilariously unexpected team comes together, united by their determination that the show must go on! This delightful and moving backstage comedy examines the power of art to bring us together, even in the hardest of times. Our unique take on this production is we will be setting the show in 1940s Worcester! Through our partnerships with other local non-profit organizations we will be aiming to make this piece authentically Worcester!
